Shamier Anderson attended Wexford School for the Arts where he majored in Musical Theatre & Drama Focus (Alumni Nina Dobrev & Fefe Dobson). He worked with some of the top theater directors and coaches in productions like Fiddler on the Roof, Music Man, Grease & Urine-town. After graduating as an Ontario Scholar from Wexford, Shamier went on to sign with one of Toronto's Top acting agents and trained with Toronto's finest acting coaches Lewis Baumander, Dean Armstrong & Salvatore Antonio and got his first break as a Host on Family Channel.
Since then has done various Film/ Television guest roles on productions like Saving Hope, Rookie Blue & Degrassi. Aside from his acting Shamier is also a skilled dancer where he has made some dance cameos in Disney's Camp Rock 2 and Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure! Be sure to catch Shamier in the upcoming horror flick "The Barrens" directed by Darren Bousman (SAW II, III, & IV).
Apart from his professional work Shamier is very involved in his community where he constantly gives back and remains grounded to his roots. Shamier's hobbies include Wing Chun Kung Fu and producing short films & Music Videos.[1]
